GTA 6 map: Vice City dwarfs Los Santos in scale

If you thought the map in Grand Theft Auto V was sprawling, prepare to feel like you’ve been playing in a sandbox compared to the state of Leonida. Brazilian content creator DavyJones recently got an exclusive look at Rockstar North’s headquarters, and he came back with some staggering numbers regarding the scale of GTA 6. According to Rockstar North co-director Rob Nelson, the game’s version of Vice City is twice the size of Los Santos, but the real shocker is the surrounding territory: the areas outside the city limits are reportedly 11 times larger than what we saw in the previous game.

Rockstar Games focuses its LA team on GTA 6 NPCs

If you thought the pedestrians in Red Dead Redemption 2 were impressive, Rockstar Games is clearly aiming to make them look like simple placeholders. With the highly anticipated Netflix reveal of GTA 6 dropping tomorrow, a fresh look inside the studio reveals just how much manpower is being poured into the game’s digital population. It turns out, Rockstar’s Los Angeles branch is “dedicated almost solely” to crafting the NPCs that will inhabit the world.

Amphibian RPG Coming to PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC

If you’re tired of the endless grind, JARCORP Interactive might have just the antidote. They’ve officially pulled the curtain back on Amphibian, a self-described “Super2D turn-based RPG” hitting PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC in 2028. The premise is weirdly specific and surprisingly bleak: you’re leading Sapo and a squad of frog allies in a desperate war against invading toads, all set against the backdrop of a countrywide drought. It’s not your typical hero’s journey; it’s a scramble for survival where dehydration and starvation are apparently just as dangerous as the enemies you’ll face.

Xbox CEO calls The Elder Scrolls 6 playable and incredible

After eight years of silence, cryptic teasers, and enough waiting to make anyone consider re-reinstalling Skyrim for the hundredth time, we finally have a concrete sign of life for The Elder Scrolls 6. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma took to X today to confirm that she’s actually played a build of the game, describing the experience as having "incredible" scale and grandeur. She even teased that the narrative is "even greater," though she curiously obscured the name of the build with eight asterisks, leaving us to guess whether it’s a localized test or something further along in the pipeline.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered: A Switch 2 Gem

After fifteen years of Skyrim memes and endless re-releases, it’s easy to forget that Tamriel used to be a place of bright, sprawling countryside and crumbling imperial citadels rather than just frozen tundras and dragon-filled skies. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered brings the fourth entry of the saga to the Switch 2, and after putting some serious time into it, I’m happy to report that Cyrodiil still holds up. Thanks to a fresh coat of Unreal Engine 5 paint, the game looks better than ever, though it brings along some of that classic Bethesda jank that long-time fans will recognize immediately.

Rockstar Eyes a Halo Moment With New GTA 6 Trailer

Let’s be real: we all know Grand Theft Auto 6 is going to be a massive financial juggernaut. Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has already labeled the game’s preorder numbers as “unprecedented and astonishing,” and come November 19, 2026, I’m fully expecting a global epidemic of mysterious “sick days.” But Rockstar Games isn’t just looking for high sales figures; they are clearly chasing a specific, fading kind of cultural dominance that we haven’t really seen since the glory days of Halo 3.

New Grand Theft Auto 6 footage arrives August 27th

If you’ve been losing your mind waiting to see actual, honest-to-god gameplay of Grand Theft Auto 6, the wait is finally getting a concrete end date. Rockstar Games has officially announced that an "extended look" at the title is dropping on August 27th. And yes, in a move that feels as bizarre as it is calculated, the premiere is happening exclusively on Netflix.

Top 10 Must-Play JRPGs for Nintendo 3DS

I have a bit of a handheld obsession. While the Switch 2 is a massive piece of hardware, I’ll always have a soft spot for the 3DS, which proved that JRPGs didn't need a home console to deliver deep, sprawling adventures. Here are the 10 titles that defined the system's library for me, ranked by a mix of critical acclaim and my own stubborn preferences.

Square Enix to slash Final Fantasy 14 Switch 2 load times

If you were among the first to dive into Final Fantasy 14 on the Switch 2 following its Tuesday launch, you’ve likely noticed a frustrating hitch in the experience. While the port marks a massive milestone for Nintendo players jumping into Eorzea for the first time, those lengthy black screens during transitions are proving to be a real mood killer.

The Future of Rockstar After GTA 6

If you’re anything like me, your calendar is already mentally marked for the 2026 window where GTA 6 is finally supposed to drop. But while the industry is collectively holding its breath for Rockstar’s next open-world juggernaut, the question of what comes after the dust settles on Leonida is already starting to itch. We aren't just talking about a sequel; we're talking about the shifting priorities of a studio that, for better or worse, has spent the last decade entirely tethered to the infinite money printer of GTA Online.

Grab the New Resident Evil Licker Popcorn Bucket Today

If you thought the trend of elaborate, overpriced movie theater snacks had peaked with those massive plastic buckets shaped like movie monsters, Universal Studios Japan just raised the bar into the stratosphere. They’ve unveiled an officially licensed Resident Evil popcorn bucket modeled after a Licker, and it’s arguably the most unhinged piece of merch I’ve seen in years. It’s not just a tub; it’s a highly detailed, skinless sculpt that captures every bit of the creature's exposed brain and muscle, and—because someone in the design department clearly has a twisted sense of humor—it’s actually a wearable backpack.

Bethesda vet Nate Purkeypile wants a better Fallout 3 remaster

If you’ve ever wandered the Capital Wasteland and felt like something was missing, you aren’t alone. Nate Purkeypile, a former Bethesda artist who served as a lead on Fallout 76, recently dropped a candid take on the original 2008 release of Fallout 3. According to Purkeypile, the game we all spent hundreds of hours in wasn't actually the vision the team had in mind. It was a victim of its own era, held back by the hardware limitations of the time.

Mexico sues Sony over the end of PlayStation physical discs

If you thought the "Don’t Kill the Disc" campaign was just a loud, fleeting blip on the radar, think again. While that petition managed to scrape together 360,000 signatures, it clearly didn't move the needle for Sony’s higher-ups. Now, the battle is moving from social media threads into actual courtrooms. Mexican senator Luis Donaldo Colasio and federal representative Iraís Reyes have officially filed a formal complaint with Mexico’s National Antitrust Commission, challenging Sony’s looming 2028 ban on physical media.

New life-size Leon Kennedy statue thrills Resident Evil fans

Capcom has decided that what the world really needs right now is a life-size statue of Leon S. Kennedy. Set to be unveiled on October 30 in Shibuya, Tokyo, this hyper-realistic effigy is the centerpiece of the Resident Evil 30th-anniversary celebration. And honestly? The internet’s reaction has been exactly as feral as you’d expect.

Minecraft Hits Switch 2 This October With Upgrade Path

If you're still squeezing every block out of your original Switch, it’s time to look ahead to October 27. That’s when Minecraft officially hits the Nintendo Switch 2, bringing with it a "Vibrant Visuals" upgrade that’s meant to actually put the new hardware to work. While the game has been running on the console through backward compatibility, Mojang is finally pushing an update that adds enhanced lighting and shadows to the experience.

Battle demonic horrors in the dark cyberpunk RPG Quasimorph

After a three-year stint in early access, Quasimorph has finally hit its 1.0 milestone, and it’s exactly the kind of brutal, claustrophobic experience you’d expect from a game that blends extraction-shooter stakes with turn-based tactical RPG depth. Developer Magnum Scriptum isn't holding your hand here; if you die, you lose every piece of gear you managed to scrape together, making every excursion into the Solar System’s dark, corporate-controlled corners feel like a desperate gamble.
